About ARS I-Tours
Why the company exists
ARS I-Tours was started for a straightforward reason: Muslim families in North America wanted to see the world’s Islamic heritage, and the tours available to them were either not halal, not well organised, or not affordable.
Our founder spent more than twenty-five years with a leading global travel and hospitality company before starting this one. That experience is what makes the difference on the ground, in knowing which hotel is genuinely a five-minute walk from the Haram rather than advertised as one, and in knowing who to call when a flight is cancelled at midnight.
We operate out of Illinois and serve travellers across the United States and Canada. Our groups run at ten to twenty guests, with itineraries paced so that older travellers can keep up and families are not exhausted by day four.
Every tour is built around the same question: would we be happy sending our own parents on this? If the answer is no, we change the tour.
What we hold to
Halal without compromise
Every included meal is halal and prayer is planned into the day rather than fitted around it. This is the reason the company exists, not a feature added afterwards.
Small groups
Ten to twenty guests. Large enough to keep a tour affordable, small enough that the guide knows everyone by name and the group eats together.
Honest pricing
What is included is listed on every tour page, and so is what is not. We would rather tell you about the tipping and the visa fees now than have you discover them at the airport.
Straight answers
If a tour involves demanding walking, or a destination is not right for your family, we will say so. A disappointed traveller helps nobody.
Our intention is to share our experience and knowledge with others. If we can make one journey easier for one family, the work has been worth doing.
