A booking is made when you send us your details and we confirm in writing that we are holding your place. A deposit is required to secure a place on a group departure; the balance falls due before travel. The amounts and dates are confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

Prices are quoted in US dollars, per person, based on two people sharing a double or twin room, unless stated otherwise. A single supplement applies if you would like a room to yourself.

International airfare is not included in tour prices unless explicitly stated. We are glad to arrange flights, which are quoted and invoiced separately.

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date.
• Prices are based on a minimum of 10 adults travelling. Below that number a surcharge may apply.
• Airfares rise until tickets are issued, so early booking is strongly advised.
• The programme may be adjusted where necessary for operational or safety reasons.

It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport and any visas required for the countries on your itinerary. We will tell you what is needed for your nationality and provide supporting documents, but we cannot apply on your behalf and we are not liable if entry is refused.

Occasionally an itinerary must be adjusted for operational, weather, political or safety reasons. Where that happens we will substitute arrangements of comparable value and tell you why. Your safety takes precedence over the published itinerary in every case.

Hotels and cruise vessels are subject to availability and may be replaced by properties of the same category.

Tour prices are based on a minimum of ten adults travelling. If a departure falls below that number we will discuss the options with you: a surcharge, a transfer to another date, or a full refund of what you have paid us.

Client to supply: the cancellation and refund schedule, showing what is refundable at each stage before departure. This section must be completed before the site goes live.

We strongly recommend that you arrange comprehensive travel insurance at the time you book, covering cancellation, medical expenses and repatriation. We do not sell insurance.

We act as an agent in arranging hotels, transport, guides and other services. We select our suppliers carefully, but we are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather, industrial action, airline schedule changes and civil disruption.
