About this tour
Istanbul alone could fill a fortnight. The Sultanahmet mosque, the Süleymaniye, Topkapı and the sacred relics, and the Bosphorus dividing the city between two continents, we give it four days rather than the usual two.
Bursa was the first Ottoman capital and still has the Green Mosque and the Grand Mosque with its twenty domes. Konya holds the tomb of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, and remains a place of visitation rather than a museum stop.
Cappadocia is the outlier, volcanic valleys carved into churches, houses and underground cities. It photographs well, but it is the underground cities that stay with people.

Before you book
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date.
- Prices are based on a minimum of 10 adults travelling. Below that number a surcharge may apply.
- Airfares rise until tickets are issued, so early booking is strongly advised.
- The programme may be adjusted where necessary for operational or safety reasons.
