About this tour

New Zealand rewards travellers who slow down, and this itinerary is built that way. Fourteen days across both islands gives us time to stand still in places most tours pass through: the fiords of the south-west, the geothermal valleys of the central north, and the long empty coast roads in between.

New Zealand's Muslim community is small but deeply rooted, and we build our days around it. We pray at the Al Masjid Al Jamie in Auckland and at Masjid An-Nur in Christchurch, and our guides plan each drive so prayer times fall where there is somewhere proper to stop.

Halal food is straightforward in the main cities and we have arrangements in the smaller towns too, so no one is ever left with a plate of chips at the end of a long day.
