About this tour
For nearly eight hundred years the Iberian peninsula was al-Andalus, and the evidence is still standing. The Mezquita at Cordoba, the Alhambra at Granada and the Giralda at Seville are the obvious ones, but the smaller towns of Andalusia carry it just as clearly.
Portugal is the part most tours leave out. The Algarve was al-Gharb, and Silves was its capital, the red sandstone castle above the town is Almohad work. Lisbon and Sintra round out the trip.
This runs as a private tour, so you set the dates and the pace. Families who want to slow down in one city rather than move every night can do exactly that.

Before you book
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date.
- Prices are based on a minimum of 10 adults travelling. Below that number a surcharge may apply.
- Airfares rise until tickets are issued, so early booking is strongly advised.
